Check out the rest of the blog by clicking "The Platts" above. 1 8-ounce package of Cream Cheese. 1 stick butter (8 tablespoons) at room temperature. 4 cups confectioners sugar. 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla. Add additional Oil flavorings if you like. You can also make this ahead of time, and keep in the fridge. When you are ready use it, let it come to room temperature, and whip again. *If you want to color your frosting, use gel paste. 2 c firmly packed dark brown sugar. 1/4 c 2 Tbsp. whipping cream.
