ícegander: 2 Weeks
http://icegander.blogspot.com/2010/05/2-weeks.html
Monday, May 3, 2010. I have so few days left that it is really making me start to panic. I am really starting to get comfortable with my surroundings and with my classmates and now I have to leave. well soon. Again I have to push this thought out of my mind and enjoy the remaining days. So when someone said the word today, I did my usual Oh God. Should I confess? Monday, May 03, 2010. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Last Day of Class. American Artist Traveling Through Iceland. ícegander: Sunny Sunday
http://icegander.blogspot.com/2010/05/sunny-sunday.html
Sunday, May 9, 2010. I saw these sunglasses in the window for a store. Apparently Elton John inspired sunglasses have a market with the common people or maybe just in Iceland. Although this day was beautiful and rather enjoyable, the day still kind of saddened me because it is my last Sunday in Iceland. The days are counting down and I am freaking out. I feel a great pressure to really leave no stone unturned with the remaining days. Sunday, May 09, 2010. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

ícegander: Holy Holiday
http://icegander.blogspot.com/2010/05/holy-holiday.html
Thursday, May 13, 2010. To be completely honest, I have learned more about the Christian faith here in this non-. Country than I have ever. Apparently today was the day that Christ went into Heaven so naturally this whole country was on a holiday. Ience here in Iceland and the crazy shit we have done/witnessed in this crazy little Island. Then for some reason or another we thought it would be a good idea to take "humorous" photos of ourself at different landmarks around the city. Thursday, May 13, 2010.

Friday, May 7, 2010. This was the last weekend here in Iceland for the other American so she invited a bunch of the foreigners and other people who we have met out for some beers and to enjoy each other's company. We met at. And quite a few people showed up. Mainly just us foreigners but it was great to have all of us together again, it reminded me of the first night we went out. After being called out as a Fascist, we decided to go to our go-to bar. I saw Clark Kent at Bakkus. yeah. Friday, May 07, 2010.

http://icegander.blogspot.com/2010/05/saturday.html
Saturday, May 8, 2010. For some reason or another, no matter what time I go to bed I will always wake up between 10-10:30. My body is crazy. Sorry for the boring random fact. With that said, this afternoon was kind of quiet, recovering from. Translates to Angels of the Universe). I thought that it was an interesting film. It was actually quite depressing and sad but I guess that's what I get with drama. But the cinematography was very beautiful and visually wonderful. Saturday, May 08, 2010. University o...

50/50: On fate
http://elisabethida.blogspot.com/2015/03/on-fate.html
One should only be right half the time. Thursday, March 12, 2015. The hero is the one fated to be the hero and who follows that destiny. Most though take detours of some sort or another, and sometimes, those detours can get you killed. Especially if you are laying exhausted on the beach with a huge gold bracelet around your arm. 50/50: Virgin Spring: Trigger Warning
http://elisabethida.blogspot.com/2014/09/virgin-spring-trigger-warning.html
One should only be right half the time. Monday, September 22, 2014. Virgin Spring: Trigger Warning. One exception to this is the film I will be showing next month, Ingmar Bergman's. It is a stretch to consider this a Viking film, of course, since it is set in the early medieval period, but since Sweden was still transitioning to Christianity at that time, I think it fits within the rubric of Viking film. Plus it is nice to see just one film that has complexity and symbolism and good acting. I'm also remi...

One should only be right half the time. Saturday, February 28, 2015. Just now I had cold pizza for breakfast, which I understand is completely un-Icelandic.
