grace notes: January 2011
http://graceface21.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 15, 2011. Over winter break, I've been trying to catch up on my reading. When I was in high school, I was always baffled by the college students who said that they were so busy that they didn't have time to read anymore. "Well, I'll make time! If there be any reserve in my giving to. Him who so loved that He gave. His Dearest for me;. If there be any secret "but" in my. Then I know nothing of Calvary love. Tuesday, January 4, 2011. grace notes: Downton Abbey Withdrawals
http://graceface21.blogspot.com/2012/03/downton-abbey-withdrawals.html
Thursday, March 8, 2012. Lady Violet: "You are quite wonderful the way you see room for improvement wherever you look. I never knew such reforming zeal.". Lady Isobel Crawley: "I take that as a compliment.". Lady Violet: "I must have said it wrong.". Lady Cora: "Are we to be friends then? Lady Violet: "We are allies, my dear, which can be a good deal more effective.". Lady Violet: "Well give him a date for when Mary is out of mourning. No one wants to kiss a girl in black.". And, the general favorite:.

grace notes: October 2011
http://graceface21.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 7, 2011. When I was younger, I always rolled my eyes at those people that said, "Oh, I love to read, but I just don't have time any more." I thought it was complete hogwash. Being the over-opinionated eleven year old that I was, I would adamantly declare to myself. "I will never be like that. I will always have time to read.". Confession: I have become that person. I made up excuses, of course. Oh, I am reading, really. It's just that I'm reading textbooks instead of actual books. By Bhar...

grace notes: I thought I would be able to read faster. . .
http://graceface21.blogspot.com/2011/07/at-beginning-of-summer-my-book-list.html
Sunday, July 31, 2011. I thought I would be able to read faster. . . At the beginning of summer, my book list contained some seventeen books. The stack that formed on my bedroom floor looked something like this:. By Ayn Rand, which I have already mentioned, is excellent. If you're into philosophy and are willing to invest the time to read all 1000 pages, I say go for it. It is definitely thought-provoking. To Kill A Mockingbird. And if you're a history lover like me, The Killer Angels. Brittnie, I actual...

grace notes: August 2010
http://graceface21.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 17, 2010. The Cross Is Everything. It has been a long time, I know. I could very easily blame it on all of this college chaos. At least in this instance, the easiest excuse is also closest to the truth. I could ramble on about how all of the excitement/stress/sadness/nervousness has left me emotionally exhausted, but anyone who has ever left home already knows what I'm talking about. Instead, just a quote that I love:. Would I gather arguments for hoping that I shall never be cast away?

grace notes: I Flipped
http://graceface21.blogspot.com/2011/08/i-flipped.html
Saturday, August 6, 2011. It all started on New Year's Eve. Even on New Year's Eve my family is not quite the type that stays up til the wee hours of the morning. Or even until midnight, for that matter. True, it was kinda a major holiday, but did half the family go to bed around nine o'clock like usual? Absolutely, yes. Did it matter that the rest of America, and possibly the world, was up until midnight to welcome in the new year? Usually I make a point to read books before I watch their movie. In ...

grace notes: November 2010
http://graceface21.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 16, 2010. Beware. Gracie is starting to use obscure French words to title her blog posts. Bad sign. After all, although we can feel "at home" in certain earthly locations, isn't there always some sort of homesickness for something else? It's something that we find difficult to name or pin point, because we don't know what exactly it is that we miss. In that regard, I think all humanity experiences some form of dépaysement.
