Gaggle Of Gees: March 2015
http://flockofgees.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 8, 2015. Can I just say what a crazy day February 28th was? Let me preface this story by stating that on Thursday, both David's car and our kitchen sink broke. Friday was a one-car, no-sink kind of a day. Do I need to elaborate on that? I didn't think so. Knowing what kind of a day we had in store, and needing to get the van back to David by 6:30 am, I went grocery shopping pre-6:00. I busted my tail, but still took too long and had to seriously rush to get David out the door. And 3) David ...

Gaggle Of Gees: August 2014
http://flockofgees.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 18, 2014. Here's a few more things to blog about - then I think I'll be all caught up! He was pretty traumatized for a while, but after a pep talk from Nicole about tooth fairies, and bragging rights, and sipping through a straw without opening your mouth, he was pretty excited to show everyone his missing teeth. L-R: Ila, Nicole, Kya, Alison. It was the second time this summer that I was amazed by how much my friends' children have grown up in two years! A cute picture of them exploring.

Gaggle Of Gees: May 2015
http://flockofgees.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 28, 2015. Wew hew for Mother's Day! Gotta love the one day per year when you can ask everyone to do stuff for you and they feel obligated to say yes! This year, I sent David to Idaho to look at a house on the Saturday before Mother's Day. He was gone the entire day. In fact, he came home after I left for the annual "we'd-rather-go-out-to-eat-together-than-buy-each-other-small-gifts" dinner with my mom and sisters. Some of the delicious food we ate. Goodness! I love me some Greek food! And h...

Gaggle Of Gees: Vacation - Day Five
http://flockofgees.blogspot.com/2015/08/vacation-day-five.html
Saturday, August 8, 2015. Vacation - Day Five. Happy Birthday to me! I turned 38 years old in St. George, Utah. It was a very interesting birthday. Not bad - in fact, pretty good, but not exactly what I would have chosen. In the end, we decided to merge the two ideas. We'd leave early, drive through Bryce, and hit Rodizio for dinner. We saw several deer, and a few pronghorn antelope, along with some pretty vocal ravens. We pulled off at several look-outs and spent a little time in the visitor center/...

Gaggle Of Gees: April 2015
http://flockofgees.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 16, 2015. What's better than having your tenth birthday? I'll tell you. Having your tenth birthday fall on General Conference AND Easter! Can you imagine the magnitude of celebrating? Well, that's exactly what happened for cute little Nicki Rae! This cute girl woke up before the sun! She showered and got all ready for the day before I could even see straight. Afterward, Nicole opened her birthday presents. As you can see, all three boys helped. Grandpa and Grandma Smith. Kristin and Brian...

Gaggle Of Gees: July 2014
http://flockofgees.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Here's a couple of pictures of the last "first time eating solid food" event our family will ever have. Quinton's growing up so fast! What is this stuff? Not too bad.". Hm Tastes like chicken.". What you lookin' at, Dad? A Really Good Day For a Foodie! Didn't I just barely mention how much I love Chick-Fil-A? I didn't dress up all the way, but I did wear a hat so I got a free sandwich. A big shout out to Alison who did the bulk of the work creating these costumes. It was the fir...

Gaggle Of Gees: Vacation - Day Three
http://flockofgees.blogspot.com/2015/07/vacation-day-three.html
Sunday, July 19, 2015. Vacation - Day Three. Monday morning 6:00 am! You can't drive through Zions Canyon. You have to take a shuttle. That was fine with us. The shuttles are pretty cool! I hadn't been to Zions since I was a child (or young teen). Bottom line is, I don't remember it. I was amazed at the beauty! We stopped for snacks and/or drinks TWICE during our ONE MILE WALK! This picture pretty much sums it up. Alison taking Quinton on an adventure. A weeping rock. So cool how those are created! We we...

Gaggle Of Gees: January 2015
http://flockofgees.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Let's put 2014 to rest already! Don't get me wrong - lots of great stuff happened to our family in 2014. Quinton's birth and my dad's election were major, exciting, memorable things! But really, for me, 2014 was just about surviving. You know you've had a rough year when your New Year's resolution was "survive" and you almost didn't keep it! David had to work on New Year'e Eve, so the day time wasn't very special. When he came home, though, the party started! We blew our horns...

Gaggle Of Gees: July 2015
http://flockofgees.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 26, 2015. Vacation - Day Four. Look how cool this place is! And look how great the weather was for hiking! If Quin was in it, I'd frame it and put it on my wall. Meditating in nature. Ohmmmmm. On the way back to the condo, I asked David to stop at Croshaw's pies for me so I could get a pre-birthday treat. Croshaw's is amazing! In the early afternoon, we went to a local theater to watch "Inside Out." What a cute show! The menu is HUGE - I was a bit overwhelmed by all my choices! This is a cut...

Gaggle Of Gees: October 2014
http://flockofgees.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 21, 2014. The other day, the kids and I learned how to make pot stickers. It was a BLAST! I found a great recipe for chicken filled ones, so they were as healthy as they were delicious! Nicki and Joshua were super helpful with the task of pinching the dumplings closed. They did a great job! I wish we'd done this during our tech-free Tuesdays. They are a great family activity. We made a LOT! If you're interested in the recipe, this is the one we made:. Here's Katie and Adam searching for ...
