That, then, is what I love about traveling: I enjoy living abroad for the cultural immersion, rather than the tourism, because I become local like the locals. My foreignness becomes displaced and I could call anywhere home. I come to know my fellow man, and I am able to call myself not just American, but global dude, or something. And this happens just by being me being here - I think thanks to my sensitivity.

I have arrived safely in Buenos Aires, where the people look like me but browner and everyone speaks a funky dialect of Spanish called "Castellano". Man do I love listening to it, I've been tuning in all close like, in order to improve my comprehension. And I feel myself becoming much more comfortable with speaking Spanish already!
