The Senior Girls Jaguars capped off a 10-5 season by claiming the consolatuion championship at the Eastern Ontario Regional playdowns Wedenesday and Thursday. St. Joe's defeated Rideau 30-19 to claim the bronze medal honours for the tournament.

St Joseph's Catholic High School Sports. Junior Girls Drop Playoff Match To RCI. The junior girls went across town to challenge RCI in quarterfinal action last night. It was a very close match with the lead being passed back forth all game until the forth quarter when some key shooting gave RCI the win. Leanne Lecompte led the team with 12 points, Rebecca MacLaren had 9 and Alanna Moss had 6 rebounds. Great effort ladies.

SJCHS Senior Athletic Program. Senior Girls Drop Decision To Arnprior. The Senior Girls Basketball. Team put up a strong effort in their game against ADHS last evening. The Jaguars led at half 15-12 due to an aggresive defense and pressure on the ball; however, a strong second half by the visiting side turned the tide in favour of the Redmen. For a 43-19 outcome. Natalie Walters led the Jaguars attack with 5 points. Practice tomorrow morning at 7am in preparation for our game against RCI.

The Senior Girls Basketball Team begins the final journey of their successful season today when they travel to Williamstown to compete in the Eastern Ontario Championships. The Jaguars begin the competition this afternoon when they go up against Vankleek Hill in a 2:30 PM contest. They follow that up with an encounter with Holy Trinity this evening at 6:30 PM.

The Senior Girls Basketball team travelled to General Panet last evening for an EOSSAA qualifier and won the most exciting game of the year 53-52. The Jaguars trailed after all of the first 3 quarters but in the fourth quarter they prevailed with clutch shooting and tight agressive defense to finish on top.

St Joseph's Catholic High School Sports. Junior Girls Conclude Season. Last night the junior girls basketball team came up short in their bid to go to EOSSAA. Ill-timed turnovers proved costly as Madawaska did not allow us to take the lead when we needed. Melissa Verch had her season high in points with 14 and Shannon Charbonneau added another basket. It was a great season and over too quickly.
