Scott - Jennifer - Lily - Madeline - Wyatt. Under The Sea Party! Madeline had an Under the Sea Birthday Party this year! We celebrated early on November 30th. This way, we avoided the craziness that comes with the holiday season. Her party was after school on a Friday. We invited her class and a few extras over for a little treasure hunt and a swim. Scott - Jennifer - Lily - Madeline - Wyatt. Guess what. I got to go to LONDON for a WEEK by MYSELF! I couldn't believe it. How many moms with 3 children get to do anything by themselves? I'm super spoiled and so lucky to have such a wonderful and supportive husband and friends to help care for my children and allow me this time away. It was amazing! Maybe it's because I've been living in the tropics too long or maybe not, but I couldn't believe how cold it is in MAY! Despite the cold, spring is in bloom!

Scott - Jennifer - Lily - Madeline - Wyatt. Spring in central Texas is absolutely gorgeous. I've loved watching the trees come alive again and the flowers bloom. This year is a particularly good year for the bluebonnets and other wildflowers that you see all over Austin. It's been really magical. I had forgotten how much I really love having some seasons. We found a small bluebonnet patch to take some pictures. This patch was a bit sparse, but we could walk to it, so that's a plus. The musical was BUGZ!
