October 29, 2013. Elizabeth Bishop (Intro English Studies). I think that the reason behind naming Elizabeth Bishop’s collection of poems Geography III. No probably not. I think what the underlying meaning is, is that even though Bishop was surrounded by negativity inside the bus, her and the other passengers were able to look at the world in a new light and appreciate the majestic animal outside of the bus and the nature that they were passing through.
