A woman's battle with ovarian cancer as told by her daughter. Monday, February 15, 2010. A baby was born on February 12. A beautiful girl with big dark eyes and lots of dark brown hair. Her middle name is the same as mine. She is my fourth grandchild. It is hard to believe that my sweet daughter has two babies of her own now. It was one of those days that I wanted to pick up the phone and call Mom. That doesn't happen often anymore- but it still happens. Mother and baby are doing well. And life goes on.

A woman's battle with ovarian cancer as told by her daughter. Thursday, July 21, 2005. Mom had her last chemo treatment this week. Her doctor said they will focus on "quality of life" issues from now on. The cancer is not in remission. I was not able to go to her appointment with her, but dad and sis did. They both said mom is happy about not having any more treatments. I'm not sure if she really understands that this doesn't mean the cancer is gone. Posted by jsdaughter at 12:04 AM.
