Monday, August 30, 2010. The End of the Manny Era. I just wanted to whip this graphic up real quick, because it was made official that the Dodgers just let Manny go to the White Sox on a pure waiver claim. The black lines indicate either of the two possible actions the Dodgers should have taken with Manny this weekend. Obviously, there's risk and reward for either path, as designated by red circles (for negative outcomes) and green circles (for positive ones). There are a couple things I do know, though.

Monday, May 21, 2012. I don't think that Juergen and I have ever had a more relaxing holiday. Hawaii was exactly what we needed. We explored and relaxed and just enjoyed the beautiful settings. Here are a few pictures. We went on a guided nature walk in Volcano National Park. It was wet and dreary and didn't feel like Hawaii at all:-). This was our little cottage in the town of Volcano. Cute little two bedroom nestled into the fern forest. This was a GARGANTUAN fiddlehead! Stay tuned for more photos.

Monday, May 17, 2010. Boston's Run To Remember and some shout-outs. On April 18 th. I ran the Boston Athletic Association 5k in a (for me) record time of 23:27. This equates to about 7.40 minute miles, decent 5k pace, in my opinion. For the half-marathon, I plan on running 8:30-9:00 minute miles on average.
