http://dehartblog.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Rog and Heather Attempt to Raise a Child. Tuesday, December 23, 2008. Crazy 3 Days, But Good News All Around. This weekend was a "long" weekend in more than one sense at our house. Aside from waiting for Tuesday to come around to find out Baby D's status, my 2 1/2 day weekend got extended by two days thanks to a nasty flu that provided a trial run to the hospital. Thank you everyone for praying for us and thinking of us over the weekend! Posted by Rog and Heather. Saturday, December 20, 2008. Last weeken...

Rog and Heather Attempt to Raise a Child. Saturday, February 28, 2009. A Wonderful "Welcome Back! My crisis communications skills were put to the test on my very first day back in the office after maternity leave. News about the situation didn't break until this Wednesday, but it's been nothing but a firestorm since! Here are a few of the news segments from Wednesday - many of the comments on the blogs are pretty interesting. We also made CW news, but their site didn't have a direct link to the story.

Rog and Heather Attempt to Raise a Child. Wednesday, October 20, 2010. We're back in business! Obviously too much has happened over the course of the last 354 days to update; it would probably take half that long to get it done. And here's yet another promise to be slightly more consistent with our updating :). Here are just a couple of my favorites of Brynne since last Halloween. For some reason in random order. Total Rookies: Another Baptism
http://dehartblog.blogspot.com/2009/08/another-baptism.html
Rog and Heather Attempt to Raise a Child. Tuesday, August 11, 2009. We'd planned on trying to get Rog and Brynne baptised on the same day, but he had to go through a series of classes in order to get baptised as well as confirmed. He whined for a bit about having to go to 10 one-hour sessions, until I pointed out that the kids that get confirmed in 8th grade have to go for 2-3 years! Sorry for the poor quality pics, the camera was left at home so these are courtesy of the BlackBerry. Cort, Becky and Mia.

Total Rookies: October 2009

Rog and Heather Attempt to Raise a Child. Monday, October 26, 2009. We'd been trying to sign Brynne up for swim lessons since June, but could never get a session that worked with our schedules. Finally, we found one that worked and that had an opening. I figured she'd do well with the lessons since she's pretty fearless, but she's totally exceeded my expectations! At swim lessons we:. Warm up kicking our feet with the dumbbells. Float on our backs and kick. Try to swim freestyle. Get water up our noses!

Total Rookies: April 2009
http://dehartblog.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Rog and Heather Attempt to Raise a Child. Monday, April 13, 2009. After church we thought it might be nice to try to get some pics of us with Brynne in her dress. Disclaimer: It was pretty windy and relatively bright in the back yard at noon, hence why Rog and I may not look outstanding. Isn't the tree pretty? Totally cracking up at her dad as she tried her dress on earlier in the week. Mad tummy time skills on display this Easter. A multi-tasker, reading during her workout. Posted by Rog and Heather.

Rog and Heather Attempt to Raise a Child. Monday, January 26, 2009. Chubby Cheeks and Maybe a Double Chin? Since day one, it seems as though Brynne has been changing on seemingly a daily basis. But over the last week, we've noticed that she's really been filling out even though she's still got some room in her newborn clothes. Her cheeks are getting a little chubby and it even looks like she might be getting a double chin? Posted by Rog and Heather. Monday, January 19, 2009. Thank You ISU Girls! She shou...
