The Follis's in .Yakima! Upward and Onward. Life as a CRNA. Sunday, February 20, 2005. I started back to work this last week. I really like the leisure aspect of travel nursing. I can have time off without having to request and negotiate the time with other staff. I am working per diem at one of the smaller hospitals in town. In March, I will try and renew my travel contract at Washoe. This will be my attempt to double dip at the Reno trough for the next few months. Posted by Jeff @ 12:14 PM.

The Follis's in .Yakima! Upward and Onward. Life as a CRNA. Thursday, October 21, 2004. It seems that all I do is work and sleep, or so my son says. Snow has finally come to the Washoe Valley. Well not actually down here in the valley. The mountains all around us are covered with snow, and the news says that some of the ski resorts will be opening this weekend. The Follis's in .Yakima! Upward and Onward. Life as a CRNA. Monday, February 14, 2005. We went to San Francisco for the weekend with Dale and Stacey Jackson. We left the cold and snow in Reno, for green grass and palm trees just a short drive away. There is no way we will ever settle down in a place where it gets cold. I have accepted a job offer here in Reno, at one of the smaller local hospitals. This will maintain my eligibility to work as a travel nurse at Washoe next month. Posted by Jeff @ 12:21 PM.

I have finally made arrangements with my agency to start another contract in Reno, at Washoe Hospital. 31/2 months off this summer was really great. We did some serious road tripping, but have now settled down to life in Reno. Adam is going to be ordained a Deacon in 2 weeks. I am looking forward to that, he is nervous. Posted by Jeff @ 1:37 PM. Being a newly naturalized citizen of the United States, it is with pride and honor that I watched the presidential inauguration today. I voted for Pres. Bush. I also voted for the party he represents. It is like insider trading. There is something wrong with a system like that. After 6 hours on monday, and another 6 hours on tuesday of which the last 2 1/2 were devoted to vacuming a carpet that needed to be pulled up, taken out, and burned anyway. I was told by my agency that I couldn't work in Reno because it would be a form on "Union Breaking", and the hospital would not do any kind of a work around unless it was to their benefit.
