With a new school year brings some very very funny things that the kids say, here are just a few. While I was testing a little girl on the letter B, she said "My dad says that when you are writing the letter B, you have to give it boobs! I laughed and said her dad was very funny, and that we give the letter b a head and a belly.

How long does it take to make this much candy you ask? And the candy makers are tired too. But wait.all that fudge, peanut clusters, peanut brittle, toffee, and more, still needs to be carefully placed in all the family Christmas tins. Their work (fun) is not yet done. We think they do! Tuesday, March 30, 2010. From Junior Prom to Softball Bruises. One minute she is in a formal dress with a cute boy and looking pretty. The next minute she is. Wearing a baseball uniform getting smacked in the leg during a softball game. Check out that bruise! Another parent at the game said she took the ball hitting her "like a marine". Monday, May 21, 2012. About the time the above picture was taken (November 2010) John informed me he wasn't cutting his hair until after the football season the next fall. That would mean about a year with out a hair cut. Yikes! I think he and a lot of the boys on the team thought the long hair helped, you know, a Sampson thing. They did win the State Championship so what can I say? It's time for a hair cut! The next cut came in April 2012. Are you kidding me? Where did this kid come from?

In fact, there was a bowl of taffy on grandma's kitchen counter for a few days after attending 3 nights of parades. Notice the size of Tanner's candy bag and his big grin. Friday, August 28, 2009. My wonderful friend of 15 years, Becky, fixed my hair today! It's still shaved up the back, so if you lift my hair up it's shaved, but becky did a great job fixing my hair so I look normal! Ya, it's so good to start to feel normal again!
