Tuesday, July 19, 2011. I have been wanting to take McKenna swimming for a while now! I didn't get a great picture with her under the water because I didn't want her under there for to long so this is the best picture we have. But you can see he go under in one of the videos.and cough up a little water :). We were only there for about 45 minutes because she got too cold.the down side to an indoor pool. We've had to play a little extra Christmas music in our apartment, and in our car, and on our ipod this season to make it feel like the holidays have arrived in Hawaii. It's strange to see all the lights and decorations and not be bundled up sipping cider. Yet, even though it takes a little bit more effort to get the 'Christmas Spirit' into our lives here, we're really feeling it! Throw carrots on the roof Christmas eve for the reindeer. Have a traditional Christmas Eve dinner with signature dishes (yum).

A lot has happened in our lives since my last post in December (. Yes it's been 7 months exactly since I updated this thing)! Good and bad, challenges and blessings alike. Wednesday, March 16, 2011. McKenna had her first bath on March 15th. She was quite content. She didn't have any problems until. Her pacifier fell out! She is very comforted by her pacifier, if its in her mouth she is most likely content :). March 17, 2011 at 7:06 AM. Well, these were not the pictures I expected! Spring break in adjectives: simple, quiet, restful, penitent, fresh, creative, pure, friendly, rejuvenating. Nate can't touch his feet quite to his head like this flexi-lady but he's at least got some nice curvature. You get the idea. I on the other hand. That night as I was washing my face, I looked in the mirror and saw I have a small raspberry/rug burn on my forehead by my hair line. I burst out laughing. A momento of my failure. I need to keep practicing I guess. With our lovely Bischoffs.

Monday, September 27, 2010. We had never been to the circus and we had the chance to go for Felipe's sisters birthday. I was a little skeptical that it would exciting but I thought it would at least be fun because I had never been to the "delta center" before. So it would be a new experience. :). I'm so excited to visit family and explore Oregon and Canada soon. This is our last week in Hawaii for awhile. Which is sad. We will really miss our friends, our plants, our lives here. Saturday, October 9, 2010. Trying to be Crafty! He offered to take the wood to work and cut it all into square blocks. :). I think they turned out very cute. I wouldn't have had anything to blog about if Felipe hadn't insisted on taking pictures of me and my craftiness attempt. He just started losing teeth and now he has a classic shih tzu over bite :) Everyone in Felipe's family tells me that it is ugly but I think its kind of cute. October 10, 2010 at 3:36 PM.
