This Crazy Existance: November 2007
http://ljdmcdonald.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! I love this time of year! Dallas is learning fast that the music doesn't stop all day, and if I'm in the kitchen and it feels hot, he will get a yummy piece of Christams candy. Needless to say, he is always dogging my footsteps when I go into the kitchen. Well, I think that's everything for now, hope your Thanksgiving was great, and your Christmas to be better! I have finally gotten brave enough to take on the challenge Calista gave us. So here it goes. After he ...

Insert Something Clever Here: March 2014

Insert Something Clever Here. Sunday, March 30, 2014. Since the kids each got to pick a crop to plant and care for this season, we were looking for ways to help them remember where they each plant. Painted garden rocks were such a fun way to get them excited about their garden plots! Evelyn's carrots will be planted behind this beauty. Elizabeth's pumpkins will be growing around this sparkling, bright bit of fun! Carson's rock will be found among his cantaloupes. Saturday, March 29, 2014. These two girls...

This Crazy Existance: Success at Last!
http://ljdmcdonald.blogspot.com/2011/02/success-at-last.html
It's been a week, one week, and yet I have never been more pleaesed at the end of one. Backing up. The potty training has been going badly. Nothing we've done made a difference (treats, toys, reading, special trips to the "play area" at various fast food joints, time-outs, cold showers, even spankings! This whole week, there have been no accidents. He's still having trouble with cleaning up afterwards, but he is getting better. The difference this week has been huge! In order to get the smell out! That's...

Insert Something Clever Here: August 2013
http://bfamilytidbits.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Insert Something Clever Here. Friday, August 16, 2013. I had a lot of fun coming up with our family craft! It seemed appropriate, since two years ago we had a take-home craft of a tie-dye t-shirt for our first family reunion, to do roasting sticks as our camp reminder. There was much creativity! We all put our roasting sticks to good use that night, with hotdogs and marshmallows! Sitting around a campfire - or sitting anywhere with the R family - wouldn't be real without Dad and his guitar. Calista, Kell...

Insert Something Clever Here: July 2014

Insert Something Clever Here. Sunday, July 27, 2014. Last night, on Saturday, we made the quick decision to go to Aaron's parents' ward the today. Aunt Katie already lives in their ward and both Uncle David and Aunt Carmen and their respective kids were visiting, so we drove down to spend Church with them. It started out a pretty perfect day: everyone was showered and dressed early, the morning went smoothly, Cole even fell asleep on the way! I found out very quickly that a two-year-old boy does not.

Insert Something Clever Here. Friday, September 27, 2013. Yesterday I also watched the guys do tons of work. :) Carson and Grandpa worked the loader to bring dirt from the driveway to the pool gap. Like we previously decided, there won't be a pool there for some time, so filling it in and reducing the marsh seemed like a good idea. Anyway, Cole helped me 'clean' out the garden. And watched enviously while Carson got to do the big work with the big boys. Thursday, September 26, 2013. Look happy. :). It wa...

Insert Something Clever Here. Wednesday, October 30, 2013. Carving Pumpkins with Grandma. After all the excitement of the ward party, we were happy to have a little down time and spend a family evening carving pumpkins at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Evie and Lizzie remembered gutting the pumpkins and did really well, scraping away cheerfully with the help of their cousins. They each mapped out what they wanted carved and this year, both girls were able to do most of their own carving as well! My adorabl...
