Camp Gëm Sa Bopp. A Peace Corps Senegal Project. The camp will be held at the Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis. Saint-Louis, or Ndar as it is called in Wolof, is the capital of Senegal’s Saint-Louis Region. It is located in the northwest of Senegal, near the mouth of the Senegal River, and is 320 km north of Senegal’s capital city Dakar. Camp Gëm Sa Bopp. A Peace Corps Senegal Project. Peace Corps Volunteers hailing from the Saint-Louis, Louga and Linguère regions of Senegal wear the multiple hats of organizing logistics, acting as counselors/motivators for the girls, and leading and planning activities. Read up more about them in the Blogroll on your right. Participants will consist of 12-16 year-old motivated young girls, many of whom are recipients of the Michele Sylvester Scholarship.
