To protect the finish, particularly on horizontal surfaces such as table tops, you may apply a good quality paste wax such as Minwax brand which is available in natural and dark tints. I use the dark because if it builds up in recessed areas it looks okay. Wax should be applied no more often than once every two or three years.

The most common such adaptation is that of a linen press for use as a television cabinet or entertainment center. My approach to making furniture is from the perspective of the 18th century, and I work hard to capture that spirit in every piece of furniture I make. The process starts with the lumber, and I use the same wide and carefully matched lumber and construction techniques as my 18th century counterparts. They knew what they were doing.

I opened up a new file with a white background and sized both images.The original photo I changed the levels and the saturation. THE COLOR BROWN :.
