Sunday, November 22, 2009. I am not sure how my roommate survives. Do you see the sparkles? It is amazing that this is actually edible. Zane's 23rd Birthday was a couple weeks ago. I decided the night before to make him a cake. I had fun doing it. It turned out completely different than what I had in my mind but that is usually how it works out anyways. I decided to make a cake to have in our silent auction. I think it was more rewarding to me to make the cake than it was for the actual buyer.

Saturday, July 25, 2009. Adrienne's 3rd Annual Deseret News 10K. Hello fellow bloggers and family. Well the day after. I am SORE! It was a fun race with TONS of people. Every year I complain about the heat during the run but I still enjoy it when I am done. There has been a change of plans. David and I are running the Top Of Utah Marathon September 19th in Logan. Thursday, January 21, 2010. Of course not for me). This week I made a 30th birthday cake. It was a yummy chocolate cake with a boysenberry filling. The cake turned out unlike I had expected. I thought I would post it anyways. Enjoy and be honest. What do you think? Would you like this for your 30th birthday? I guess it is hard to tell in the picture but the base layer is purple. Monday, January 18, 2010. Sledding at Baxters Knob! Today my Mom and Dad, Taneea. And I went up to Baxters. Knob past the Dam up in Hyrum. The snowmobiles had flattened down this huge hill to make it perfect for sledding. My dad has a sleigh called "The Screamer". The name is not an understatement! It is pretty much a wood top and two ski's underneath. That thing flies! It is a guarantee. That there will be plenty of laughing as you go down the hill or watch someone fly down the hill too.

Sunday, September 27, 2009. I am an official Cake Nerd! Hello Family and Friends. Today I completed my first Fondant cake. I read an online blog for an "easy" marshmallow fondant and thought, "This couldn't be so hard". Well, It wasn't! David helped me roll the little balls to put around the bottom. Tuesday, August 25, 2009. No way. WAY! What do you think? Here they are folks! I just finished my first level of cake decorating class. Let me give you a bit of a background. Adrienne Jo (me) has NEVER cooked a cake on her own in her life. This was a whole new experience for me and I am so glad that I chose to do this. The roses were my favorite thing to learn.
