Getting Truckee was fun though, got to Echo Lake around two or so, sat around outside of the store with some other hiker trash, got a new hat( I lost my old one going into Tahoe). Next day I broke out some new meals I now plan on pack out whenever I get out of town. A fire near Tahoe, I have no info on it though. They are every where here! This entry was posted in Hike. I left my wallet on the bus leaving Bishop and had to stay in Independence a lot longer than I had planned and only got to hike about two or so miles. Not Pct miles, I still had five more until I was back on the trail. So I’m here taking a zero at Mammoth. Got to see my folks and am feed a lot of town food! This entry was posted in Hike. Well, I’m here in South Lake Tahoe, on the 4th and it’s proving to be a hard town to get out of since it’s a holiday, but also it just an awesome town. These guys get big in Yosemite Valley. Finally had to really set up my tarp. Hiking into a thunder storm on sanora pass. Not the smartest thing I’ve done. A Swede got the shirt. Walking into a thunder storm again. Thank you so much. My shoes after 1000 miles.
