Monday, 27 August 2012. The weekend saw me reaching a nice little landmark, as I Ringed my 500th individual bird. The bird in question was a lovely little Robin, not a bird considered too special or exciting, but on this occasion it was definitely the bird of the day. On sunday evening I headed back to the Coastal Park as a Barred Warbler had been found in, of all places, our Ringing mound! Sunday, 12 August 2012. Or maybe it was coincidence. Who knows? I like to think they were Mr and Mrs though!

Its one of the greatest feelings in the world when you see the joy and excitement on somebodies face when they see something wonderful for the first time, especially when you have a little hand in making it happen! Sunday, 24 March 2013. Goa Trip 2 - BONDLA. Anyway, Bondla is a protected forest in the foothills of the Western Ghats. Its 8 square kms in size, not huge but big enough to spend a good couple of hours exploring. Sunday, 30 September 2012. This is easily the best Moth I have seen in the last few weeks, a truly stunning species. A lot bigger and a lot more colourful than I was expecting. A RARE DAY OUT.
