psycho logist: wild roosters and waterfalls
http://elbowofreality.blogspot.com/2008/09/wild-roosters-and-waterfalls.html
Wild roosters and waterfalls. The rainiest place on earth is on the island as well- yeah i know it's kind of like visiting the world's largest rubberband ball or something, but it's still cool to know that a place on earth gets like 400 inches of rain a year. There are also a number of waterfalls on kaua'i. it's pretty mountainous and given the amount of rain in the mountains you're bound to get a waterfall or two. waterfalls are cool. i like looking at them. ebullience. It's clearly been a long while since i have posted here, and while there are many reasons as to why that's the case, i probably will not address that so much here. why you ask? I will write a bit more in this space, but in order to protect my own interests, the post will probably be lacking in the details that some of you may wish to know- that's something that you're just going to have to deal with. I just finished reading the tao of pooh. Which is a book about taoism from the perspective of the characters in the winnie-the-pooh books by a.a. milne. i found it pretty interesting, which surprised me, and as a result i have picked up a copy of the tao te ching. To read a bit further. i'm glad that i read the tao of pooh. As well as a very therapeutic perspective from which to relate to each other and the world. Jesus doesnt want me for a sunbeam. Almost non-stop lately. i'm not particularly intere...

Vacation, all i ever wanted. I guess that pretty much sums up my MHGS. Experience: i am learning who i am. not that i was completely clueless before, but i have a better understanding of what is and what isn't true about me. i used to believe mostly the false things. but the truth is being revealed and i like it, even though it's not always easy. Faith hope. love. Semester of my grad school journey is coming to a close. i will post more on what i have learned and my thoughts later. Man what a good month!

Allergy attack pattern: optical meltdown. First things first, i'm not going to address my radio silence just yet, but here's a little post for any of you logists still out there. Long story short-the benedryl kicked in shortly after, and all breathing returned to normal. we went home and i scratched myself to sleep. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). http://elbowofreality.blogspot.com/2008/01/back-to-school-back-to-cool.html
Back to school, back to cool. Tomorrow is the first day of school for the spring semester here at mhgs. i'm always surprised at the sense of anticipation over starting school again after a break. it's like when you're a kid and you go and have all new classes and classmates and bring your new pens and pencils and what not. not much changes in grad school. well, at least not for me. I would like to know those rankings after 1 class of each. Not enough data yet, but i stand by my original numbers. Mars hil...
