Saturday, June 14, 2014. First Week of Work. I’d been told to be ready on Wednesday at 6:30am to be picked up. This being Africa, I was picked up around 6:50. The sun wouldn’t rise for another half hour, and no matter how many layers each of us was wearing, we all felt under-dressed for the morning chill. 8220;That white stuff on the grass is pretty, eh? 8221; my boss said as we drove by, about forty minutes later. I looked where he was pointing. 8220;You mean the frost? 8221; I asked. 8221; he asked.

Thursday, December 21, 2006. I wrote a long entry thanking anyone and everyone I could think of that was involved in my trip or this show. It was long, it was eloquent and it was a final entry to make me feel proud. Then my computer crashed. As for me, well, my next step is on the way. I go back to Chicago and use what I learned. Saturday, August 16, 2014. In case you haven't noticed, this trip wasn't like the others as far as this blog went. Mostly you'd notice because I haven't said much about anything that was happening or what I was actually doing. I ran into a couple problems early on when it came to recording a public history of what I was up to: telling the story affects the participants.
