Being A Volunteer Befriender Mentor. If you would like to support poor and vulnerable individuals and families by journeying with them, come lend them your support and listening ear. Find out more about our volunteer training! It is our intention to train volunteer befrienders and match each volunteer (or 'volunteer couple') to poor and vulnerable individuals and families. Story of the Poor and Vulnerable. Poor and vulnerable Individuals and families often seek help from social service agencies such as Family Service Centres (‘FSC’) . In a year alone, the 43 FSCs across Singapore attended to a total of 25,830 cases*. Challenges faced by these poor and vulnerable include:. Incarceration of a family member. How can we help them. Your participation in Jubilee A New Programme. Is thus vital in providing some relief to these less fortunate in our community.

Each qualifying applicant. Is eligible to receive up to $2,000 in financial support. As we are a registered charity with an Institution of a Public Character ('IPC') status, all donations $10 and above received will be eligible for 250% tax-deduction on the donated sum (from now till 31 Dec 2018).
