The students run a stall outside the training centre. Weekdays 9am to 4pm where you can buy produce grown. At the project including vegetables and flower plants. We grow and sell 9 varieties of tomatoes, 8 varieties of. Chillies, 6 different lettuces, cucumbers, peppers, 3 types. Of aubergine, French and runner beans, cabbage, carrots, pumpkins, squash, parsnips, leeks, red and white onions, garlic, spinach, beetroot, courgettes, herbs and lots more besides. There are up to 16 day-care places for students from Swindon and the surrounding districts. Students can be bused to the centre by our own mini-bus. In addition to the full-time staff of 3, the project employs a specialist 3 mornings a week to teach numeracy and literacy skills and a cook. We also use the services of several volunteers to work with the students in various forms of general education, including cookery, art, and craft.

Donations make up an increasingly important part of our finances. As the public purse-strings are pulled ever tighter, we become more and more dependent on charitable donations to balance the books and enable us to continue providing this invaluable service. Alternatyively, why not pop in and pay us a visit, where we will also be happy to accept any donation, however large or small, in cash.

All students at the project work to their capabilities and are encouraged to develop new skills within reasonable expectations. Through individual achievement, the students are given the opportunity to develop an awareness of their own abilities, so becoming more confident within themselves and in their relationships with others. Ely's Jubilee Gardens lie between the River Great Ouse and Broad Street, providing a "green link" from the river via The Park, up to the Porta and Ely Cathedral. The Gardens were opened by HRH the Duke of Edinburgh on 11 February 2002 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee year of HM Queen Elizabeth II. The Friends of Jubilee Gardens Ely were formed in 2003 to provide continued public participation in developing and maintaining the Gardens and also to extend awareness of, and encourage pride in, the Gardens.
