Sunday, May 16, 2010. To get an interviewee to open up to an interviewer, you must first stop treating them as “interviewees” and start treating them like a normal individual. With any average person, to get someone to open up to you there must be some connection between the two people.Few people are inclined to tell a total stranger the most intimate details o their lives. If there is a connection with the other person they would be more likely to open up. The latter allows them to address critique.
