A happy FAMILY is but an earlier Heaven. Wednesday, May 4, 2011. My father-in-law, Norman Baxter, passed away on April 27th. Greg and I were there when he died, which was a good experience for us. Grandpa had suffered with Alzheimer's for years, and the first thing I thought after he died was, "He doesn't have Alzheimer's any more and never will. He can remember things, he can speak, and he can walk.". May 5, 2011 at 12:39 PM. I didnt know that Jakes middle name was Norman. Thats cool! Welcome Back, Gross.

A happy FAMILY is but an earlier Heaven. Saturday, October 31, 2009. We had a great time carving pumpkins. Jake was excited to light them all. Today was the Greater Oregon district cross country championship. It was held in Ontario. The course was fast and the weather great - about 50 degrees. Jake is shown above in his Under Armour as the teams readied for the start of the race. The course was VERY fast. Jake was anxious to check the board to learn just how fast he and his teammates had run the race.

They spent the day with me in court. We had a great time together. Here they are with Tracy who is from London. She has an awesome accent. Grandma's beloved grandmother, "Gram" and her husband, Sam Bannister, are buried in the Enterprise cemetary. Their graves are on the northeast side of the cemetary towards the top of the hill. She was awarded her second letter. The next day we had Senior Recognition Night at the church where Courtney received a beautiful quilt from the Relief Society. Monday, December 28, 2009. Moms can Relate to this. Landon and Ryan spend many hours playing with blocks. Landon likes to make Dominoes and Ryan loves to tip them over. Sunday, August 24, 2008. The rope bridge is a main place to play. Here the girls and a neighbor are putting on a "dance" to the music from "The Man from Snowy River". The boys did several wheel barrows of wood. Tara and I put this trim in one of the bedrooms downstairs. This lime green wall color was not my first choice for paint, but the girls love it! Sunday, October 18, 2009. Angel," our favorite and only Bantam Leghorn chicken died. She laid the cutest little white eggs. The kids have shown her at the County Fair and won quite a few ribbons. We always caught her to show friends and Kiylee and Ashley put on a talent show with her and Dalmation. Sadly today, Brady our dog, chased Angel to death. (Dalmation died earlier this summer). Monday, August 13, 2012. This one is for you Jason. Here are some pictures of the 50 miler we did in end of July. It was a great trip and awesomely beautiful country! Frog Lake with Castle Peak in the background. Three of us made the attempt to summit this, but I ended up backing out while my neighbor and his son made it. I admit the static electricity made me very hesitant to keep after it. Looking down on a couple of lakes. There were lots of lakes like this and all were beautiful.
