This weekend was a little different in that we had a yearly sidewalk sale to look forward to! It is basically kiosks mostly manned by Chinese folks selling fine Chinese goods such as:. Most of the whities here are wealthy. We are treated differently than the locals. We are treated much, much better in shops and restaurants than others. Often we are taken to the front of the line. Was Over Cappuccino and Cola. Saturday, April 25, 2009. Our hearts and thoughts go out to the Lauer family as they mourn the loss of their father and husband. Last Easter we were lucky enough to share a meal with the Lauer family at their home in Maui. Unfortunately the day after our meal together Kit was diagnosed with leukemia. Story here. Was Over Cappuccino and Cola. Saturday, June 20, 2009. We interrupt this hiatus with an important announcement. As of today, 20th June 2009, Nicole and Matthew are no longer married. Because Matthew lost his wedding ring somewhere in the South Pacific. Sunday, June 07, 2009. With those 600 odd posts (and most were quite odd) I'm done.
