She's now teaching at a university in Seoul and is all over Facebook shouting the praises of her new uni and trashing her SCH experience. Life and English in Korea. Friday, May 18, 2012. May 18 - Homeward bound. Yep, it's true. Coming back to the US this summer. Arrive in the Motor City on June 30 and depart back to Korea on July 25. The last few months have been a roller coaster of work and emotions. My closest buds here are all leaving Korea in June - Amanda, Jen and Andrea - so I'm left wondering now what for me. Nun sind schon fast zwei Monate vergangen, seit ich mich von meinem geliebten Peru verabschieden musste und mit sehr schwerem Herzen in das Flugzeug nach Deutschland gestiegen bin. Es ist Zeit für einen letzten Blogeintrag. Und, wie wars? Das ist die häufigste Frage, die ich gerade bei Wiedersehen mit Freunden zu beantworten versuche. Für mich war das Jahr eindrücklich in allen Facetten.
