Judith in the Jungle. Curious, observant, and delighted revelations from a gallivanting gal lost in the bush (and sometimes beach). When mom said, “You mean it’s not just a tropical vacation party? 8221; I figured it time to speak of the series of minor to major glitches that accompany all the delights of living and working in Salone. That, and the fact that over the past two weeks these glitches have been arriving one after the next. How effective might this be? Links to this post. Freetown's finest, me...

Judith in the Jungle. Curious, observant, and delighted revelations from a gallivanting gal lost in the bush (and sometimes beach). TASO Gulu - backlog, June 2 - 13. Gulu is a crazy, incredible place. I've been awash with a million emotions, made more complicated by lack of processing time. The work I was part of over the two weeks with TASO was inspiring, gut-wrenching, important, and, dare I say it - somehow fun. Drama performance at TASO Mulago. I was slightly aghast, but the views of Gulu town, couple...

Not My Mother's Couch: June 2008

http://notmymotherscouch.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html

Not My Mother's Couch. Sunday, June 29, 2008. The pinwheel is made from a Redbull can. They have Redbull here. This is most-likely Sudanese gas coming back into the country after being refined abroad. Chinese companies have contracts to drill for most of the oil in Sudan. People here say with confidence that most of the difficult labor is done by Chinese criminals who work here as their punishment. What competitive economics. They still haven't apologized about the balding incident, but they are beautiful.

Abenteuer Perú - Mein FSJ in Arequipa. Mittwoch, 28. September 2011.

Judith in the Jungle

Judith in the Jungle. Curious, observant, and delighted revelations from a gallivanting gal lost in the bush (and sometimes beach). My point of view. The past month or so has been over the top busy and I've found my time, energy, and momentum for updating this woefully low. That said, life in Sierra Leone has stayed nothing short of complicated and colorful. Have a glimpse from where I'm sitting into all that I've been seeing:. Sandy steps racing forward:. Varied faces of tempered team work:. I’ve ...

Judith in Wonderland | count your rainbows, not your thunderstorms
