Judith Logan Art: UKCPS exhibition 2014
http://judithlogan.blogspot.com/2014/04/ukcps-exhibition-2014.html
Contemporary Fine Art and Illustration. This year's exhibition is in the RBSA Gallery Birmingham. 4 Brook Street, St. Paul's Square). I was so chuffed to have the 3 pieces of work that I entered, selected, especially considering this is my first year as a member and also my first as an entrant. But the icing on the cake was getting to meet other members and being able to view their work in the flesh. It's never the same as photos online or in a catalogue! It's also within walking distance from the BMAG.

http://judithlogan.blogspot.com/2015/06/please-come-and-visit-my-online-shop.html
Contemporary Fine Art and Illustration. Please come and visit my online shop! Thought I`d plug my Etsy shop a little. I opened it about a month and a half ago, and had my first sale of two lino prints to Washington State, USA! Fingers crossed they get there ok.The post office always says 5 days, but I think that`s wishful thinking? Still, when you consider how nowadays we can send, buy and sell things all over the world, it`s pretty awesome! Unfortunately, the would-be buyer for The Bride. 20 x 50 cms.
Judith Logan Art: Call For Entries
http://judithlogan.blogspot.com/2015/07/call-for-entries.html
Contemporary Fine Art and Illustration. How many times have I paused for thought after reading those words in art magazines, and now more commonly, in Facebook posts, etc? Lately, I have decided to enter more competitons or calls for entry to exhibitions. It is a gamble, it costs a lot of money, and the fear of rejection is ever present, but if an artist wants to gain greater exposure, or a bigger audience for selling their work, then he or she needs to have quite a few eggs in quite a few baskets. So th...
Judith Logan Art: Juggling Act
http://judithlogan.blogspot.com/2014/02/juggling-act.html
Contemporary Fine Art and Illustration. May be too much for abuela,. Soon to be 80 in August! It has been refreshing to actually sit. In front of the fire, with a cup of tea, and even watch 24. All over again, right from Season 1 (for the second time). Jack Bauer isn`t Jack Bauer in Spanish though: " Chloe, get me the schematics, NOW! Just doesn`t sound the same. Can`t wait to see the new season to be released later this year, based in London, I think? I don`t get out much, you say.). So, subconsciously ...

Paper Rainbow: paper cloth seascapes
http://moragrainbow.blogspot.com/2015/01/paper-cloth-seascapes.html
Morag Archer: My world of Creative collage and mixed media. Tuesday, 6 January 2015. Last week I was intuitively collaging,. This week I am still intuitively collaging (photos at the bottom of the post) However it is a slow process of fiddling and in between paint drying and wondering what to do next, I decided to do some seascape embroidery using cloth paper. I can't take the credit for coming up with the idea of cloth paper as I know many textile artists use similar techniques. Thank you for all your s...
Paper Rainbow: Wild sewn cards
http://moragrainbow.blogspot.com/2015/06/wild-sewn-cards.html
Morag Archer: My world of Creative collage and mixed media. Sunday, 21 June 2015. One of the the things about working in collage is that you end up with a lot of 'bits'. Bits' of paper, 'bits' of papercloth, 'bits of organza. 'bits in general! I don't like waste and kept all my bits in a box, the box was getting fuller so I decided to make some cards with some of the scrap pieces. All different, all unique. Iv'e been on a mission and made loads! 22 June 2015 at 17:00. 22 June 2015 at 19:31. 9 July 2015 a...
Paper Rainbow: New Thistles
http://moragrainbow.blogspot.com/2015/06/new-thistles.html
Morag Archer: My world of Creative collage and mixed media. Sunday, 28 June 2015. Finally finished. ( I think ;) ) this canvas has been on my easel for a couple of weeks. Regular visitors will know how much I love thistles. I paint and collage them often. I painted the canvas roughly with acrylics before I added the paper layers. I don't always do this but in this case I wanted to get rid of the expanse of white and I also wanted to leave some of the painted areas. Added paper layers and black gesso.
Paper Rainbow: collage with thread
http://moragrainbow.blogspot.com/2015/03/collage-with-thread.html
Morag Archer: My world of Creative collage and mixed media. Thursday, 5 March 2015. Well I am still recuperating from my foot fracture, thanks for all your well wishes, they really cheered me up. Life on crutches is very frustrating and I have been looking for ways to fill my time that require minimal movement. Painting you would think would be simple with one leg, and it is! Cleaning up though is not so quite so simple! Sewing however is not messy, It can be done with my foot elevated and pedal-less!
Paper Rainbow: My first attempts at glass fusion!
http://moragrainbow.blogspot.com/2015/07/my-first-attempts-at-glass-fusion.html
Morag Archer: My world of Creative collage and mixed media. Saturday, 11 July 2015. My first attempts at glass fusion! I recently tried something NEW! A glass fusion workshop! I love glass and it is no coincidence that when using paper many people comment that my work has a stained glass look. It is of course impossible to work transparently with paper and the idea of glass fusion has been whirling around my head for some time. The workshop was hosted by Glass-maker Lynda Drummond. And was such fun!

Morag Archer: My world of Creative collage and mixed media. Sunday, 29 July 2012. Paper Rainbow: The beauty of small things
http://moragrainbow.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-beauty-of-small-things.html
Morag Archer: My world of Creative collage and mixed media. Sunday, 19 July 2015. The beauty of small things. I love big expansive landscapes, although within those landscapes I am always drawn to small details. Textural grasses, delicate leaves and jewel like blooms. When I photograph landscapes I usually get down on the ground to fill the foreground of the image, it's almost as if I'm small animal peering through the wild grasses! Looking down as well as around always unearths small treasures. Your lov...

Contemporary Fine Art and Illustration. Black Friday at the Black Sheep. Just a few days to go before I open my gallery to the public! Right now, I feel a bit like the proverbial dog who`s bitten off more than she can chew, but hopefully things will ease up once I get it all started. I really wish we adopted the Thanksgiving holiday over here as well, rather than Halloween, which I`m not a fan of, but who knows. And my husband, of HF Photography, is doing the same on his photographic prints. Saturday 26t...

Thursday, January 15, 2009. January 15, 2009. Greetings everyone. I was so sorry to hear the weather report this AM, a minus 8 degrees! 160;Then I realized we wouldn't have school. I would much rather have school everyday. But, of course I would not want any children to get frostbite walking to school or waiting for the bus. I believe that the weather is going to improve tomorrow and even be in the fifties next week! Good ol' Missouri weather - constantly changing. 160;Way to Go! Today, January 14, 2...
