Finally it was time to head through the mountains back to San Jose, passing sugar cane and coffee plantations. We wandered around San Jose and headed to a hotel, Best Western Azul. (pesticides/no pesticides) And we had seen this marking on the fields. I mentioned we had been eating tons of pineapple, and usually I get a sore mouth from too much but this hadn't happened.
