Travels of Judy and The Fox. Monday, May 31, 2010. A huge black guy sporting a tee shirt that said "I Love it When You Call Me Big Daddy." Whoa, this guy just might take the prize, they had 1 hr to do it and you could see the big timer counting down the minutes. By the time we finished dinner, bought some fudge, and pulled up in front of the KOA, I was ready for bed and Fox was ready to walk. That's how it usually goes with us. It's not that I can't back the thing in, but over a narrow plank onto a ship is another thing! The guy in charge told me every step of the way exactly which way to turn the wheel and I drove her right on! We were outside on the deck when a couple came up to talk to me. She said "Oh, you're the one who backed the trailer on!

The Jefferson, Madison ans Gallatin rivers come together here to form the mighty Missouri River. My campground site was on the Madison. Turns out that the town of Gallatin once stood here as an attempt to be a shipping center during the gold rush days. It didn't pan out and the below of the town hotel is all that is left.
