Detroit Public Library Tour. June 26, 2016. It has been a local tourism week! My sister from southern Illinois, Wendy, was visiting. She arrived on Monday, June 13th and left a week later. We drove past some of the huge estates by the Rio Grande, the kind of places that it would be nice to be able to afford Had lunch at a pueblo restaurant, where the food comes almost entirely from the local pueblos, and all the recipes do. Sept 2015 Trip w/ Tricia, part 1. Detroit Public Library Tour →. Trip with Tricia, part 2. September 30, 2015. That evening we stayed at Mitchell Creek Inn in Traverse City. Lovely. Quiet. Restful. Right on the main drag, but nonetheless quiet. Strongly recommend. Not fancy, but has a round table with chairs and grill out back, a furnished kitchen in the room, and a fire circle with more chairs behind the table. Two friendly dogs. No hair dryer. Wednesday morning after breakfast we went to a Ben Franklin!
