Saturday, April 21, 2012. Today I was fortunate to have this piece, Everyday Kwan Yin II, accepted in the annual Buddha Abides exhibit here in Santa Barbara. As usual, I was working on this right up to the very last second and so failed to get a picture before the ingathering. After this photo was taken I trimmed it to straighten it out some and put a binding on it. Everyday Kwan Yin II. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Santa Barbara, CA, United States. May 26, 2008 · 4:10 pm. Painting on Deconstructed, Screenprinted fabric. I spent a very happy two hours painting in my garage this afternoon! Remember the deconstructed, screen-printed fabrics I made in the Kerr Grabowski workshop at the Quilter’s Studio in May? Here is the result:. Adventures in mixed media and fiber. Monday, September 6, 2010. With that in mind, I decided there was no better time to post a few "notebooks" that have found their way out of the studio notebook and into existence. This is the first notebook I created. It is a stamped, piano-hinged beauty created on card stock. I haven't decided what I will use it for yet but the possibilities are endless. A delightful collection to keep notes, lists, and such! Adventures in mixed media and fiber. Sunday, December 12, 2010. It has been cold here in New Jersey and this little snow person is feeling right at home. I created her some time ago but just never got around to sharing her with you. She is right at home in my studio and ofter helps to hold down the freezer paper that I use under my wet and messy pieces as I create them. Have a blessed and happy holiday season.
