Judy's Trip to Thailand: Bangkok again

http://judysthailandtrip.blogspot.com/2009/02/bangkok-again.html

Judy's Trip to Thailand. Join me as I travel through Thailand. Friday, February 27, 2009. In the evening we attended a tradional Thai puppet play. I was very impressed. All of the puppets and their costumes are hand made. The art of puppetry almost died out here, but was revived by a few dedicated folks. We will be meeting a friend of Fred's tonight for dinner on our last night here. Can't wait to see everyone. Not looking forward to shoveling though. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Judy's Trip to Thailand: Monday's Adventures

http://judysthailandtrip.blogspot.com/2009/02/mondays-adventures.html

Judy's Trip to Thailand. Join me as I travel through Thailand. Monday, February 16, 2009. Monday was a day of many and varied adventures. We started the day of touring at the Sukothai College of Fine Arts (in Sukothai of course). This institution attracts students from all over Thailand to study the traditional Thai arts. It encompasses grade 7 through bachelors degree. Of course the evening wouldn't be complete without more great food and karaoke. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 2nd Day in the North.

We have been busy in the classrooms this week, teaching 4 classes every morning, then off for more adventures in the afternoon. We are heading up north again this afternoon to visit more of this beautiful country. I will try and update when we return. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Judy Stevens Long, PhD | Est Bonum Vitae

Judy Stevens Long, PhD. June 2, 2015. This is the first piece I have dictated using Dragon speak as my modus operandi. At least it makes different spelling mistakes than I do. I’m writing you this because something in the media caught my eye this week. Some are saying that old is the new black. Apparently, old people are suddenly fashionable. I bring this up because it brought up a lot for me. So, I wonder, in my usual evening stupor, what meaning does this have for me at 71? At first I felt heartened ab...

I love bright, rich colour, and this is reflected in my work. I hope you'll come back regularly to check out what I have been sewing. It's been very grey here for ages! We are a very dry state in South Australia, but we have had some good rains this year. However there haven't been those sunny days in between that cheer a person up. We are spoilt here with our sunshine. Too much of this lately- rain, rain! Tuesday, 18 August 2015. Can you help me think of a name for this lady? No Name Lady"- can you help?
