Judy's Trip to Thailand. Join me as I travel through Thailand. Friday, February 27, 2009. In the evening we attended a tradional Thai puppet play. I was very impressed. All of the puppets and their costumes are hand made.The art of puppetry almost died out here, but was revived by a few dedicated folks. Judy's Trip to Thailand. Join me as I travel through Thailand. Monday, February 16, 2009. Monday was a day of many and varied adventures. We started the day of touring at the Sukothai College of Fine Arts (in Sukothai of course). This institution attracts students from all over Thailand to study the traditional Thai arts. I have been having internet problems this week, so it seems this might be the only way to connect with people. We have been busy in the classrooms this week, teaching 4 classes every morning, then off for more adventures in the afternoon. Judy was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on April 11, 1954. She always drew and painted as a child, (a gift she acquired from her mother) and specialized in Art in high school. After graduation, Judy spent two years in Vancouver, B.C. and in 1976 married and relocated to Calgary, Alberta.
