Long Live Paper and Scissors!
Rock is Dead: August 2010
http://judyworkman.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Long Live Paper and Scissors! What can really be said? Anyone who is home with kids in the summer knows that they will be kept hopping. We dog sat for a friend. And I made some bookmarks with a new stamping set I got from Papertrey. I made a bunch of cookies for the Indiana State Fair. I haven't entered in years, and now I can remember why. I was on my feet all day long trying to get things made, iced, packed, stored, tagged, entered. Labeled, recipes added, etc. Mismatched knits this winter.
Rock is Dead: It's A Miracle
http://judyworkman.blogspot.com/2010/10/its-miracle.html
Long Live Paper and Scissors! My friend Maria called last week and told me that she lives vicariously through my blog and that when i don't update, she is very sad. well, what is a friend to do? I get off my lazy behind and post some of the pictures I have taken. I am a good friend! The picture above is of the Christmas presents I have wrapped already. I know, it's barely October. But Christmas comes at the same time each year and is year I am determined to be ready to meet it head on. I took Seth to the...
Rock is Dead: My Yarny Goodness
http://judyworkman.blogspot.com/2011/01/my-yarny-goodness.html
Long Live Paper and Scissors! I know, I know, it's been a while since I blogged. seriously, who blogs anymore? It's almost a dead medium. I couldn't be so picky. I have lots of random yarn pictures on the blog today. Why, you wonder? Because I want to trade away some of my yarn on the world's best ever knitting web site, Ravelry. In order to post pictures of the yarn there, it has to link somewhere though, and I have nowhere to put my pics but right here. E way to be entertained and generally. Hope your ...

Rock is Dead: July 2010
http://judyworkman.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Long Live Paper and Scissors! How did It get to be July? I tell you, I don't know where the summer went. I also don't know where my photos went. I have crafted much more this summer than I am able to show you. I also scored some yarn at a yarn sale that I was going to post, but some of my photos are unfindable. Right now. SIGH.I made the card with a brayered. As soon as school starts and I have access to knitting. We did take vacation. This year in between. The Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Ben Frankl...

http://snortlepuss.blogspot.com/2009/08/sunshine-hello.html
Roll with the Punches. Stampin' Fun with A-M! Sunday, August 30, 2009. I just placed my Holiday mini-catalogue pre-order earlier this week and I'm getting antsy for my NEW RUBBER and goodies! So I am warming up with some challenge stampin'. This is for Beate's Weekly Sketch Challenge. I pulled some DP and some In Colors out of retirement for this one cuz, well, I was really sad to see those colours go (especially my Kiwi Kiss! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Mom to three great kids and Stampin' Up!

http://snortlepuss.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Roll with the Punches. Stampin' Fun with A-M! Saturday, September 12, 2009. OK so there's a story to this one. Last month I bought a car. It's a blue 2004 VW Golf and I LOVE it! We still have the van (you have to, really, with three kids! When I was finished, I thought the butterfly was so pretty, I needed to make another one and make a card out of it, and this is it:. Isn't that butterfly adorable? One of my kids at work is turning 18 on the 21st, so I think I will send it to her. So wish me luck! All f...
Roll with the Punches: October 2008
http://snortlepuss.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Roll with the Punches. Stampin' Fun with A-M! Saturday, October 18, 2008. OK, time to catch up on recent challenges. LOL! This one is for yesterday's Limited Supplies challenge. We had to limit ourselves to one design of DP, one ribbon and one eyelet, and feature the colour blue (any shade). I went with the same DP as my earlier card, basically because it was still on my table LOL! Plus, I have a schwackload of it to use up. And yes, the Christmas theme continues! What do you think? The lil snowman's fac...

Roll with the Punches. Stampin' Fun with A-M! Sunday, August 30, 2009. Two posts in one day. Wow. I decided to also play this week's colour challenge. As I L-O-V-E these colours together! Real Red, Chocolate Chip and Kraft. Wow, wow. Chic Boutique. Was already on my table from my last project (I used the cursive "hello" stamp from that set) so that's what I used. I love how it turned out! My watercolouring is a little sloppy, but oh well. I actually used the "No Copics No Problem" technique, using SU!

Roll with the Punches. Stampin' Fun with A-M! Thursday, July 30, 2009. Happy Birthday, Mom! It's my mom's 65th birthday next week and we will be celebrating this weekend. I think my sister and I will be taking her to see Stratford's production of West Side Story in the fall as a gift - my good friend Heather tells me it's probably the best musical production she has ever seen! And she would know as she is a talented actor herself! So I needed a birthday card, right? Which is a new set to me. Because I am...
Roll with the Punches: Das' right
http://snortlepuss.blogspot.com/2009/12/das-right.html
Roll with the Punches. Stampin' Fun with A-M! Saturday, December 19, 2009. TWO posts in ONE day - whatchoo got to say about THAT? This one is for the Clean and Simple challenge at SCS - the challenge was to use curves in a clean 'n simple card. After almost 10 years of stamping, I have discovered that clean and simple is my style. No fuss, no muss. I've played around with a lot of styles, especially since I discovered SCS, and this is where I usually am most comfortable :o). View my complete profile.

Arianna Huffington has asked me to respond to 15 questions about all this needless fuss. Her first question is. If you didn't tell your editor, Len Downie, about the CIA leak because you were so afraid of being subpoenaed, why did you. Supposedly tell Walter Pincus. Did you trust Pincus but not Downie? No Arianna, I’m channeling Dick Cheney. Posted by Quid at 1:11 PM.
