Sunday, July 17, 2011. I am so sorry that I have not written for so long! I hope that you are still out there reading along! I have recovered from surgery and went back to work on June 15th. I also started radiation therapy the same day and will have to do that for 5 weeks. I also have to go in for chemo treatments once every 3 weeks and I will do that until January. All of these treatments are more "preventative maintanence" but they are really not that bad. And the chemo only takes about a half hour!

Monday, May 16, 2011. Both surgeries went well. Dr. Friday did find a surprise when she operated on Julee, she has endometriosis. That made surgery last longer than expected, but all went well. Dr. Buday had no surprises and surgery went as planned. We get pathology reports back sometime this week. Even though she had a mastectomy, it is still very important to get the path report to see how well chemo worked. She loves you all! May 17, 2011 at 6:29 AM. May 17, 2011 at 6:35 AM. Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Whew, what a long couple of days! Julee was slated to go home yesterday, but she had a pesky low grade fever that bought her one more night at luxurious Mount Carmel East! Wouldn"t you know it though, a few hours after we say the surgeon, her temp went down! I did bring the kids up so momma could see her babies. All the chemo, pain, and everything else she went through has paid off. I think we let out a collective sigh when he told us! Love to you all! I got to come home on Wedne.

Sunday, January 30, 2011. One down and 3 to go! I finished my first cycle of this phase on Thursday! So now I have a week that I will not have to go and get chemo! Wednesday, November 24, 2010. I am finally back to myself! I am feeling good this week and I am enjoying seeing my friends again! It was a better round this time but I would joking myself to think that it would be easy. My meds were changed and I believe that it made a difference however day 5 and 6 are still my worse days.
