To the hope you profess, for He who promised is faithful. Wednesday, December 06, 2006. As of January 2nd, I will have new position at the Canadian Cancer Society. I leave my Special Event Assistant position to take on the Revenue Development Coordinator position (basically a fundraising event manager) in charge of our Daffodil Days and Jail-N-Bail campaigns. So instead of assisting a coordinator with these campaigns, I am now the coordinator in charge of running them. I am very excited!

To the hope you profess, for He who promised is faithful. Monday, June 12, 2006. Celebration of Friends - Italian Style. They flew to Venice where they toured Italy for 2 weeks and then to Greece where they toured Crete, Santorini, Mykonos and Athens for another 2 weeks. For them it was a life changing trip. For me, it was hard to know they were experiencing it all without me but I could hardly wait for them to get back to hear their stories, see pictures and share their enthusiasm! Itself was not enough!

Due to a blizzard in Calgary on the afternoon that we left, we arrived in Ottawa later than expected. Gerry picked us up at the airport. I ask for your prayers for his family this week as they take in this terrible news and begin to grieve. Pray that they will turn to God for comfort and that His presence will be close to them at this time. Pray also for the family of Corporal Francisco Gomez who was killed with Jason in the attack.
