Thursday, July 21, 2011. An exhibition of local views , on display at our library. The old Schoolhouse and a part of a door and an old fireplace on the first floor The other old building is the wood factory , now closed. Of course a shot the Carrigallen water mill which is such a well known feature in the town. A few scenes of the Long Cold Winter and the town lake. Some views at the Ploughing Championship, tractor,dogs,horses and gentleman ploughing. Hope you enjoy my selection. Thursday, July 7, 2011.

Sunday, December 30, 2012. This is a video from an airshow in France - 2010 , but the plane is the Spifire , my Dad's photographic passion. He visited the Duxford Airshow in 1996 and I have recently found the negatives from his day out taking photos . Seems like he had a ball ,as there are shots of many old planes and some really great ones of the Red Arrows in formation , with the coloured smoke trailing shapes in the sky , but the star of the show for my Dad , was of course the Spitfire. Wednesday, August 29, 2012. The fleadh has been in full swing in Cavan town and on visit with my camera , i discovered a poignant display in one of the church yards. Many of the trees were "dressed" with clothing from a local charity shop and pinned to each , a snapshot of a woman or girl , who is missing.
