Fiber Dream Diva: November 2008
http://fiberdreamdiva.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 1, 2008. We haven't had quite a frost in Atlanta yet, but the leaves are beginning to turn (and fall) and the temps are quite chilly - YAY! I always celebrate this season. I love everything about the change to fall, then on to winter. The position of the sun, the smell of fallen leaves, someone burning leaves somewhere, the earth seems to give up such a rich smell. The breezes refresh completely. The "ceiling" is so very high and the blue skies make me feel free! 4-6 scallions, chopped.

Fiber Dream Diva: January 2010
http://fiberdreamdiva.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 27, 2010. And so, it begins. I had to do a mental and literal shake of the head to grab hold of the notion of 2010. I remember when the passing of 1969 to 1970 was of great importance to me. Wow, a new decade! Oh, the delight in being a witness to and a participant in the movemenet of one decade into another! After 1970, the clocks and calendars conspired to leap and bound in an effort to outpace me. So far, I'm staying the course. Also in 2010, I'll tackle several art projects. View m...

Fiber Dream Diva: January 2009
http://fiberdreamdiva.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 26, 2009. 2009 Out Of the Gate. Twenty-six days into the new month, the new year, and I haven't checked my birthday book. I just realized that I missed a really important one for a dear friend. Bad! The flip side of this year is all of the new at my house. Little things. Simple pleasures. New furniture in my studio! http://fiberdreamdiva.blogspot.com/2009/02/this-week-at-our-fiber-art-fusion.html
Thursday, February 12, 2009. This week at our Fiber Art Fusion meeting, we gave the Round Robin blocks back to the owner. I am thrilled no end with mine. The 11 women who worked on it during the last year added so many beads, buttons, machine and hand-stitching, glitter, and all kind of special effects. I LOVE the result. Great results can come from collaborative art! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Dream Weaver.my first CQ block. The Blog of a Friend. This week at our Fiber Art Fusion meeting, we gav.

Fiber Dream Diva: August 2008
http://fiberdreamdiva.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 12, 2008. It's nearing the end of summer. It's always special to realize that we are nearly finished with the heat and humidity that makes being outside pure torture. Soon enough, we will have fresh air, cool breezes, color in the trees, and that sweet smell of the earth in autumn. Wishful thinking? Our Fiber Art Fusion group put the Transformation Show on exhibit at The Art Place in Marietta from July 24 through August2 22. What a lovely showing of our work! I've been reading voraciously...

This is My Brain on Quilts: Winter Cleaning
http://mybrainonquilts.blogspot.com/2010/01/winter-cleaning.html
This is My Brain on Quilts. Sunday, January 10, 2010. UGH, the messiest space ever! Ahhhhh, relief. Shelves mounted and everything in it's place. Some people Spring Clean. I Winter Clean. This weekend I focused on my studio. When my mom came to live with us last year, we converted my studio into her bedroom suite. My studio now encompasses an upstairs bedroom, but for the better part of 6 months, it's been a place I've made piles. A few years ago I started keeping "like things". Is hanging on the wall?
