Don Khong our base for the past days, an island on the river Mekong, is 18 km long and 8 km wide (depending on the water level of the river). Time in general passes slowly in this part of the world, and doesn't even seem to matter. People put much more emphasis on values as family, politeness and hospitability. After visiting the temple Bayon of Angkor Thom (our favourite) for a last time, our tuk-tuk driver droped us at international airport of Siem Reap. When we asked for the price that he wanted us to pay for driving us the last three days, we were very superprised as he asked us for an amount that we are happy to give.
