Villa Sciarra is a public park in the city of Rome, nested above the Gianicolo hill above Trastevere and in the Monteverde district. It is at walking distance. From our house, is the Gianicolo Hill (Janiculum) with spectacular views over Rome and statues commemorating the heroes of the Risorgimento, including Garibaldi and his wife Anita.
