Friday Craft: Creature Bookmarks. It's been a while! I've been so busy starting the year in a grade 5. And making crafts, of course! Early in the year, i decided that every last period on Friday afternoon would be a "free period". I don't wanna teach and the kids are tired too! So I've started organizing Friday Crafts. The kids can do them if they want, or play a game or whatever. But let me tell you, these are crazy popular! And loved them instantly! We had listened to what does the Fox say?

Life is so busy right now! However, there's always time to make a friend a cake on their birthday. My friend Lindsay had one request: a white cake with sprinkles. So I thought great! Simple and cute, but it's missing a little je ne sais quoi. So after a little pinterest research (it really NEVER fails) I had it! A sparkly cake topper! And since her card was a massive My Little Pony Card (hah! I figured let's stay in this magical childhood girly theme and put a UNICORN on the cake! 9734; computer printer.

Gettin' Crafty with Lili Mouskouri: April 2014
http://gettincrafty-natalie.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
For the past month I've been supplying in a grade 5 and we haven't been crafting too much. More like lots of Math and French! However, with Easter being this weekend, I decided we were in need of a fun crafty afternoon before the long weekend! So I found a bunch of vintage easter images on the web and photocopied them onto colored paper. I brought in some fun patterned paper and we made bookmarks on little strips of bristol board! We even sealed the collage with plain old packing tape! 9988; colored paper.

Doodles and Daydreams: Grad Show
http://sashafoster.blogspot.com/2011/06/grad-show.html
Friday, June 3, 2011. Here are a few shots from my installation at the OCAD Graduation Exhibition! I ended up framing all of my pieces and then pouring resin into the frames, which I felt gave the final pieces an added touch. I created a cottage like installation around them to accompany the natural themes in my work. I was really happy with how everything turned out and had a great weekend showing with some of the most talented artist I know! I really like your pictures and the whole installation!
