Dancing with my mirror. September 26, 2008 at 2:04 am ( Clothing. The store that sells them is located not too far from my home and the price is pretty decent: $60 per suit. I’ll buy it Saturday so I’ll have a new suit for my next class, which is next Tuesday. September 26, 2008 at 3:10 pm. In my experience, TYR’s sizing is. A little small, particularly in the boobage (example: the swim meet where I dove in to start my race and had to yank the suit back over my breasts, which had popped out the sides!

I Look Good and I Do What I Want. A journey of loving my body and myself. In my head June 11, 2008. 8212; Mae @ 4:52 am. I went to get my head shrunk yesterday. Not as unpleasant as I’d feared, but scary, nonetheless. And the scary part isn’t over. I haven’t blogged about it because I didn’t have much to say. Unfortunately, besides some familial drama with my parents (isn’t there always some kind of drama? Anything has to be better than this. Opened my eyes to something I hadn’t even realized that ...

I’m just trying not to feel claustrophobic inside myself. August 14, 2009. Posted by Jae in Dating and Relationships. Today, I let my subscription to match.com expire without having even been on one date. This is not my first time on the online dating carousel, though I’ve never had much luck at it, mostly, because I would chicken out before meeting up with anyone I corresponded with. I did have a brief semi-relationship with a guy I met on Yahoo! I could write a whole ‘nother post on how one is su...

The Fat Liberation feed owner, Big Liberty, removed my blog from the feed without warning because of the post I made July 18, 2008. Ultimately, the reason my blog was taken off the feed is because, in her opinion, I did not zealously enough challenge the critical comments on said post. I don’t agree with how and why I was removed from the feed. However, I am OK with being off of it. I truly do not want to be on the feed after the way this situation was handled. Now, BL knows I was not trolling and has si...

The first 10 days. Part of my approach to Operation Quality of Life 2009 is that it is completely okay for me to change my goals as the weeks, months, and year goes on. I don’t want to feel badly about these goals; I’d rather they feel doable and exciting and real. As a result, I’ve adapted my exercise goal to be 3 times a week in January, 4 times a week in February, and 6 times a week in March. I’m excited to sit down today and make our plan for the week ahead. I’ve been doing great with getting 8...

First Well, I like to check Simply Recipes first a lot, but I was certain Elise would have a good pot roast recipe, and I was not disappointed.
