As I appreciate the importance of both the parents role in the child’s life and often, due to commitments at work, one maybe unable to attend the health visitor appointments. My name is Julia Headland and I have been a Registered Nurse (RGN). For 13 years and more recently, a Registered Health Visitor (RHV). And BSc (Hons) in Community Nursing Specialist Practice. I am also a Registered Nurse Prescriber. As well as practising as an independent private health visitor, I also work part time for the NHS. I am married and have a son.
