Just another WordPress.com site. Well, it has been more than 3 years since we moved to Amman. I remember that first year and all the things I had to learn…so many things to learn. Over the years, many of those once new things have now become my every day things. Here is a list of things that I have become accustomed to:. Spending at least 1 day a week at the home of my in-laws. Crazy, crazy, crazy driving -no words can describe. Pedestrians with no fear – seriously get out of my way or I’ll r...Giving al...

Their team recieved 3rd place. She has learned to spell 30 words in English for the big event! Pretty good for a 4 year old🙂. Mashallah (May God Bless her)!

Experiential Living: It's all connected

http://amyerichardson.blogspot.com/2011/04/its-all-connected.html

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Recently, I've been thinking a lot (but probably not enough) about how interconnected life is. That was a seriously vague statement, so here's what I mean: God's command to love Him with everything and to love others should be at the center of all that I do. Here's why this has come up. I encountered people whose lives were, by my standards, filled with misery - poverty, sickness, oppression, abuse. Who were mistreated by any host of authorities - from parents to the govern...

Julia's Italy

Third time's the charm they say. except this is my fourth time in Italy! View my complete profile. Thursday, May 13, 2010. Hello Forced Followers of my blog,. Well after many miles traveled, cities visited, family and friends saluted, and laps around the Colosseum, I am back in Philly and wondering what to do with myself next. It's over! My quasi-year in Italy is over! I can't believe it. I mean, I knew it was coming; I was coming home and I felt prepared, but noooooooo! What was I thinking coming home?

Julia in Jogja | A year in Indonesia as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant

February 16, 2016 · 8:43 am. It’s all about the climb. This was a post I started in March and never finished because Indonesia is too beautiful to stay inside and type on a computer for extended periods of time. My experience in Indonesia has largely been shaped by fortuitous instances in which a new friend extends an invitation to come along on a trip somewhere, and every time it has felt like stepping through the wardrobe to Narnia. What will we be doing there? What time will it go until? I looked at t...

As I bring in the New Year, it’s hard to believe that 2012 is already gone. On this day, exactly one year ago, I was writing one of my first blogs. I was only two days away from moving to France to spend my semester abroad. Oh my, how my life has changed. It’s easy to let your expectations jump WAY. Its hard to be patient sometimes, trust me, I know this first hand...

Spojrzenie na Rzym – by Dominika Wronikowska

Pokaze Wam moj Rzym.
