I got my first pair of boots. Reading magazines with Holly. Eating cake and pudding with Wendy in the club lounge. And the pinnacle moment, getting my ears pierced. Rachael and I picking out my studs. Rachael brought sparkling cider for breakfast. And celebrating with my Dad on Sunday 11/11, because we share our birthday.

The first 4 were slow going, but now that the kids are in school the time has just flown by. Here are just a few of the high-lights and low-lights. The stress of a wedding. Monday, April 1, 2013. I try not to get sad and think about my life in "lasts", my last Easter in Vancouver, my last 4th of July here, my last bag of flour that I'll buy in the state of Washington. But sometimes I can't help myself! And it doesn't help that I like my family so much. We had a great Easter with my sister and kids at my parents house, the wearther was warmer than the 4th usually is and my kids were really good inspite of the non-stop sugar high. What a great family time! Even on my worst day.

Monday, June 18, 2012. The Last Day of School. This summer I have them signed up for a few camps, swim lessons, and library days. Every day they are to clean their room, the play room and the bathroom then read for a half an hour before they can play. We take lots of trips to the library. Auri loves it.
