Aug 7, 2012. The night started off great, we set up shop on the hill overlooking the stadium and the Jubilee Village. Turned on a Portable TV then started doing some exposure tests. Then in the middle of a performance some fireworks shot off. All we could think was WTF. seriously what kinda half ass firework display was that. A couple in a parking lot below us exclaimed "thats all folks.bumbo claat! Enjoy the selection. Applogies for the poor quality my baby. Is in the shop. Links to this post.

Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Anniversary Hike at Holywell. And I went hiking with a friend Mark on one of the Holywell trails last Saturday. Quite a bit of rain fell during the week and even the night before the hike, so the rivers flowed freely, and we just couldn't pass up the opportunity to stop and take some shots. The flora that grows along the way to Holywell and on the actual park grounds are just incredible. We finally get to the waterfall and oh man, it was soooooo worth it. It was a fantastic...

Sunday, August 1, 2010. The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) Award Ceremony and Exhibition. In September of 2009, I made the decision to enter into the world of photography to see what I could learn, and where it could take me. I purchased a Canon SLR Camera, and joined the UWI Camera Club. Fast forward to May 2010.I submitted three pieces of work-entirely unrelated to each other to the 2010 JCDC. Visual Arts Competition. see below. ISO 400 1/800 f/9. ISO 400 1/200 f/14. Jan 1, 2016. Fireworks - Downtown Kingston, Jamaica. Happy New Year Everyone! It was really windy on the waterfront this year and the rockets were all over the place. It makes you appreciate shooting these things from a mile or more when you have to be constantly recomposing to try and follow the rockets.
