Blair Family Blog: June 2011
http://blairfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Alex and I started the month by visiting Grandma in Minnesota. He is still cute as a little button according to Grandma. Isaac and Daddy went on the Stake Aaronic. Priesthood camp-out in New Jersey. Apparently roasting Marshmallows made quite an impression on him. I was grateful they came home without ticks. It was nice to spend some time with mom. And Chocolate Chip. All very interesting variations on what we would expect from the American versions. Unfortunately, it was ...Got u...

Blair Family Blog: December 2011
http://blairfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 1, 2011. Thanksgiving, and everything else. November was a mild and wonderful month. Isaac enjoyed playing with his friends in the beautiful falling leaves. The days have been warm and easy to enjoy. We scored some free Natural History exhibit passes from a. To entertain ourselves, one day we went down to South Sea Port and caught the Ikea ferry over to Brooklyn (as pictured). The big event in November was Isaac's official birthday. He was in heaven. Mom made her best. They were right ...

Blair Family Blog: October 2010
http://blairfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 13, 2010. The Goings on of Blairs. This past weekend we celebrated Isaac's second birthday with a party in central park with his friend Madeline who is also turning two. These two are two cute together. The weather fully cooperated; it was a beautiful day and a fun party. A picture of the cake and of the other little buddies who came. But he seemed to catch on very quickly. With a little help from Daddy, he became our head apple picker, taste tester and cheer leader in chief.

Blair Family Blog: January, or the one day of snow
http://blairfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2012/02/january-or-one-day-of-snow.html
Wednesday, February 1, 2012. January, or the one day of snow. After shoveling Grandma's front porch New Years' day, we flew back to a mild and brown New York. Lo and behold, Santa had been here while we were gone! Isaac and Alexander had a couple more presents to open. Isaac really like this huge gingerbread decorating kit. It entertained him all afternoon. We went up to the Bishop's. Isaac had a big suprise his first Sunday back in our ward, he was now a Sunbeam! Alexander has become a mobile wonder....

http://blairfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2012/02/december-merry-nymn-christmas.html
Sunday, January 1, 2012. December: Merry (NY MN) Christmas. The sights and sounds of Christmas in the city were so exciting this year. We were in a rush to squeeze are the NY festivities in before going to grandma's home in Minnesota for Christmas. Isaac made a gingerbread house at his pre-k. I had to snap this picture quickly since Isaac ate the entire thing within a half hour of getting home. Yum. We stood in line to see Santa. Yes, Alex too (though he had a seat). Amid it all, we decided to take a tou...

Blair Family Blog: February 2011
http://blairfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 4, 2011. We have been pelted with snow this year. No one knows how to make a minor emergency a crisis like New Yorkers. The first snow storm on December 26th, Cliff's work gave us the biggest Christmas present yet by advising all employees to use caution and work from home where possible. Here are some pictures of Cliff working from home :). Isaac was so excited to get out the sled we had to pry him off of it to get him and it out the door. Woo-wee" he would say "look-a snow! That is, un...

Blair Family Blog: March 2011

Thursday, March 31, 2011. Baby Alexander (middle name to be determined) was born at 7:46 pm on March 31 (not April 1- this is not a joke! Margo was a trooper- her water broke at 3 am Thurs. morning and she didn't really start having contractions until late afternoon after she was put on some medication. Fortunately, once things got started, they moved pretty fast, and Margo said this time was much easier and much less painful than with Isaac. Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Goings ons of our Munchkin. And bloc...

confessions of a real life band geek

Confessions of a real life band geek. I'm a foodie and a happy hooker, and a knitter. I teach college English and sometimes History and how to be successful. Sunday, July 27, 2008. I've decided this whole being a grownup thing is entirely overrated. I had to buy a car last week. I like my new car - she's shiny, orange, automatic, and a Honda Fit. But I'm working a lot and my house is a mess and I need a break. I think I'll feel better when I can focus my energies all in one place. Melissa - The Band Geek.
