Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque IV. Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Muscat, Oman. March 20, 2016. If you're ever in Muscat, you must visit the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. It really is stunning. I'd recommend going early though, as it was packed when I was there at about 10 am! Sort of ruins the tranquility of the place - was still brilliant though. It's open 8 am to 11 am Saturday - Thursday for all non-muslims. For the purpose of introducing new work to my website and discussing new projects.

Wadi Aday, Oman. March 31, 2016. I thought I'd go for a drive and explore - not very adventurous when you see that Wadi Aday is only about 15 minutes outside Muscat! I planned to go much further but the sedimentary rock formations were just too awesome. I had to pull over and go for a walk and clamber. Unbelievable to think that this type of landscape is just on the doorstep. I can only begin imagine what further afield may offer. This image presented a few more challenges than usual to get it.
